The affordability of the Mediatek chipsets/processors has always been admired by smartphone users and manufacturers around the world. The chipmaker aims to offer the best features at the lowest price tag. The next wave of smartphones in the affordable price ranges will be having the new Helio G35 and the Helio G25 chipsets, as they provide a commendable and noteworthy boost to performance.
8 Core Chipsets With Great Performance
Both of these new chipsets, including Helio G35 and Helio G25, come with eight cores each. However, the 8 cortex A 53 configuration for the two processors is clocked at different speeds. While the G35 is clocked at a maximum of 2.3 GHz, it’s sibling; the G25 is clocked at a maximum of 2 GHz. Both of these chips contain the IMG Power VR GE 8320 GPU, but the clock speeds vary. For Helio H35, it is 680 MHz, while for Helio G25, it is 650 MHz. The Nm nodes provide support for Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, and eMMC 5.1 storage.
Other Specifications
The two chipsets also differ in certain other specifications. The display resolution supported by Mediatek Helio G25 is HD+ 1600 x 720, while the Mediatek Helio G35 supports FHD+ 2400 x 1800 resolution. Mediatek Helio G25 can also support a larger resolution primary camera, up to 25 MP, while Helio G25 is only 21 MP. Both of the new processors will support multiple camera configurations. However, the only drawback is that these processors are not 5G capable, but do provide worldwide 4G support.
